Information and Calendar Events

Dear Parents and Students,
We would like to "Welcome" you to Dance Creations and thank you for choosing us. We are all very excited about our upcoming year and can not wait to get back to teacher! We are expecting another very successful year!


These are some things we would like to let you know:


1st: Our annual recital is scheduled for June. The exact dates are still pending, but will once again be held at the Centene Center in Farmington. We will update you with specific dates by the end of September.

2nd: Picture week will be May 3, 4, and 5

3rd: The days we will NOT be having classes for holidays are November 24-26 Thanksgiving break, December 24-January 2 Christmas break, and May 30 Memorial Day.

4th: For snow cancellation listen to B104 or call the studio voicemail after 3:00pm. You may also receive text messages. If you would like to use this option please see Marilyn in the office and make sure she has your child's name and number to be text.

5th: Costume Deposits of $25.00 per costume are due by the end of October with remaining balance due by the end of November. I know this may sound early but to ensure costume delivery we have to order early).

6th: This year once agian for the months of September and October we will be offering bring a friend to class. If your friend enrolls in class we will give you 15% off your next months classes minus private classes and your friend will get their registration fee waived. Please remember your friend will be evaluated during the class you bring them to and placed in an appropriate level class, which may or may not be with you.

7th: Pleas always check your students bags for notes or updates. you may also check the studio bulletin board in the lobby or one of our websites www.dancecreations.zoomshare.com, www.dancecreationsdesloge.net and we also have a MySpace page

8th: Make sure that your childs name is on their dance shoes.

9th: All competition students please remember the dress code and be ready for our beginning of the year meeting Saturday, September 8th at 10:30am to discuss fundraising, competitions, windsuites, ect.


I know this sounds like a lot but we are trying ot keep everyone as informed as possible. Once again thanks for choosing Dance Creations and we are looking forward to another "Great Year".
